The Harineras mills as a cultural opportunity

The Harineras mill complex would be an ideal home for the Thyssen collection. It is close to Alicante’s planned convention centre in the port and the Digital District’s port premises, facing the sea and the new Parque del Mar. A Thyssen branch could transform the whole southern gateway and Alicante as a whole, bringing a fitting use to the distinctive buildings of the Harineras complex on Avenida de Elche.
